This large piece has been sliced out of a nodule of septarian and has been polished on one side. Septarian is made up of Calcite (yellow), Aragonite (brown), and Limestone (grey). Muddy Creek in Utah is considered the best locale for septarian in the USA. This pieces displays several open vugs full of lustrous calcite crystals partnered with the darker contrasting colors of the aragonite and limestone. This item comes with a sturdy acrylic stand and would make a lovely display piece!
