Dioptase with Calcite

Dark, emerald green prismatic crystals of dioptase are perched on a contrasting matrix of greyish white calcite. We are currently in the hay day of dioptase production in the Congo. The region continues to pushout more and more beautiful material, but like everything it can't last forever.
Note: Please keep in mind that photographing and filming the true green color of dioptase can be extremely difficult. This piece will look more vibrant in person.
