This is a beautiful small example of fire engine red vanadinite from the well know Geronimo mine in Arizona. The specimen displays vibrant hexagonal/barrel shaped crystals several with which have tiny lustrous calcite crystals attached. This piece was collected in 2005 by Robert Bell. Robert Bell was a dentist who practiced in Kansas but would often filed collect on the southwest. The overall condition is good with the vast majority of the crystals being complete and intact.
